CMD's Evolution CORE is designed as a fast track way to give you some important and essential self-preservation skills and knowledge within a relatively short time. Of course this is by far no means a complete picture, but as your CMD Trainers we want to give you tools that you can easily grasp and put into action in the shortest possible time.

Think of the Evolution CORE training program as a solid introduction to developing foundational skills that you will be called upon to develop further, and to build upon more advanced CMD skill sets in the future.

One of the most important objectives of the Evolution CORE is to dispel some of the many myths surrounding self-preservation, in so far as what actually works and why it works. Again this will serve as a foundation for future skills we develop together.

As we have evolved over thousands of years, evolution has given us certain advantages to survive threats to our safety. When having to deal with someone attacking you this is no different.

The real key to successfully been able to defend yourself is not to override your instinctual, evolutionary adaptations designed for your survival, but rather to work with them.

This is the CMD advantage!

Everything we do in your first CMD experience, everything we coach you, is designed to work with your natural instincts and not against them. For some this may take a little time getting use to as we have been so conditioned by the Western mindset to override our instincts. But one thing is for sure, you will see quick results and what you learn will make real sense. Not only this, but we will take your evolutionary physiological responses that do occur in a high stress and survival situation and coach you not only what those are, but also how to work with them to successfully perform your martial skill at the highest possible level.

This will become very evident as you work with your CMD Trainers and through the 8-Stage Evolutionary CORE cycle. Our number 1 goal is to build your confidence, and this is a word you will here often while training with us, but also experience first hand. Phase 1- A Functional BASE to deliver all future skills of off. Developing Primary CORE strikes that will work under fire.

Phase 1- Understanding basics of stance, defense and striking.
Phase 2- Understanding first distance of engagement. Developing a mobile platform, driven by balance.
Phase 3- Develop confidence in defense, to ride the storm.
Phase 4- How to stay on your feet (Keep The Fight Standing)
Phase 5- Surviving a blitz attack, getting in, controlling and fighting back.
Phase 6- Bringing Phase 1 to 5 together before moving on.
Phase 7- Stress inoculation training. Building confidence through stepping it up. Secondary CORE strikes.
Phase 8- Filling in the gaps. Defense against secondary strikes.
